Amanda Gomez is a Latinx poet from Norfolk, Virginia, where she received her MFA in poetry at Old Dominion University.  Her chapbook, Wasting Disease, received 2nd Honorable Mention in the 2019 New Women's Voices Chapbook Competition and was released in October, 2020.
